Wind generator IstaBreeze® I-2000 Watt 48V wind turbine
The IstaBreeze® I-2000 is a powerful 2kW wind turbine for larger energy projects. It is particularly well-suited for 48V battery systems and, with the appropriate system components, can also be used for grid-connected applications. It is an excellent choice for users seeking significantly higher energy yields than those offered by smaller wind turbines.
Ideal for: larger residential and off-grid systems, agriculture, 48V battery systems and high-performance wind energy projects.
Standard or carbon rotor blades
In addition to standard rotor blades, carbon rotor blades are also available for selected models. Carbon rotor blades are characterized in particular by their higher resistance to deformation and bending, as well as their long service life.
Important: Choosing carbon rotor blades does not mean higher performance or efficiency of the wind turbine. The main difference lies in the material's greater mechanical strength and durability.

3 or 5 rotor blades?
The 5-blade version was developed as an additional option for sites with low wind speeds. The increased number of rotor blades improves start-up performance in lighter winds and facilitates rotor rotation.
For medium or strong wind conditions, we recommend the classic 3-rotor blade version. The additional rotor blades in the 5-rotor blade configuration can limit the maximum achievable power.
Our recommendation:
Low wind conditions → 5 rotor blades
Medium to strong wind conditions → 3 rotor blades

For standard batteries, use the I/HCC-P 2000W – 24V/48V hybrid charge controller or the I/HCC-2000 24/48 Volt Pro charge controller – standard version.
The I/HCC-2000/48 Volt Pro charge controller – lithium version – is suitable for lithium batteries.
For on-grid operation, the 48V I-2000 can be combined with the SUN-2000G2-WAL-H inverter.
